Welcome to United Black Students (UBS), an organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting the Black student community at the University of Miami. At UBS, we believe in fostering a supportive environment that celebrates Black culture, promotes education, and advocates for lasting change.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a sense of belonging by providing resources, educational opportunities, and platforms for dialogue. We strive to facilitate personal growth, cultural awareness, and community service among our members.

Cultural Celebrations

Join us in celebrating the rich and diverse culture of the Black community. Our cultural celebrations include African-American History Month, Juneteenth, Kwanzaa, and more. These events feature engaging performances, guest speakers, and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals.

Workshops and Seminars

UBS hosts workshops and seminars on various topics, including leadership development, professional skills, and social justice. These interactive sessions provide valuable insights, networking opportunities, and personal growth experiences for our members.
