Assistant Director of Information Technology
Festivals Bazar, a leading company in the eCommerce & Shopping industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Information Technology. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving the advancement of our digital platforms, ensuring that our systems are efficient, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall development and implementation of IT strategies, policies, and procedures
- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support in daily operations
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their technological needs and provide effective solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, trends, and best practices in the industry
- Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Ensure data security and compliance, implementing robust measures against potential threats
- Monitor IT budget and expenses, making strategic recommendations for investments
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring smooth integration and effective service delivery
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to employees, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new IT team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or relevant positions
- Proven track record of successfully implementing IT strategies and initiatives
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and online shopping systems is desirable
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plus
